Here is just a simple party food sampler dish that we once made. The middle is a spinach artichoke dip from Trader Joes. This stuff is fantastic tasting, decent on ingredients, and we have gotten it on many occasions. The Blue chips are Organic and made by Garden of Eatin. We eat the blue chips because they have more protein then the “regular” ones. The carrots and cucumbers are organic from Whole Foods. The wheat thin looking bits are another brand (also Organic) and are basically wheat thins knock-offs. Personally they taste much better than wheat thins, and I find wheat thins actually taste more like cardboard than anything else. They taste disgusting once you start enjoying real foods. The cheeses are cheddar and jack and are both raw “unpasteurized”. These were both from Whole Foods as well. Cherry tomatoes are cherry tomatoes and nothing much can be said about them, except that they were organic!
It was a big success! People dived in and most of it was completely gone after a short amount of time. The dip in the center greatly enhances the experience and it was a nice appetizer.
