Birthday Cake

Here is an old one, my last birthday cake!  My wife made this one from scratch, and I must say it was quite superb.  These are the things that come from people that like to bake , I consider myself lucky!  Whip cream, strawberries, blueberries, vanilla cake… what could be better.  Well for starters, the whip cream was home made from cream and not a pre-bought processed product like processed fake cool whip.  The blueberries were organic, and so were the strawberries.  The vanilla cake was from Trader Joe’s and was their own brand.  We like to get it because it has real vanilla beans in it, which makes it taste oh so good.
