Weston A. Price Foundation

Weston A. Price was definitely one of the pioneers in nutritional wisdom as far as I am concerned.  He was a dentist with a mission, to find out what factors were involved with certain people having high dental health.  He did this by studying non industrialized groups of people outside of the western world.  These groups still practiced old traditions and ate absolutely no processed foods.  The people only had their farms and land to work with in growing and gathering food, just like it used to be on the entire globe before the industrial revolution really started to happen.

He found that these people not only had very healthy mouths but that they also had very low levels of all disease.  When he began to investigate his findings the conclusion was that they were so healthy because they had centuries of generations all consuming proper nutrition.  They were ingesting sometimes over 10 times the nutrients then that of what the person eating the typical western diet would consume today.  All of this was possible with consuming real natural foods while using centuries of real traditions and knowledge in preparing the foods.  I think it is crucial that we  get back to those ways before it is too late.  People are getting more sick by the year, and it is not going to change until societies food system revolves around nutrition.

Browse to the site www.westonaprice.org and you will see many things that you are not used too.  Most important is that you will see that this site is all about promoting pure wholesome nutrition while dispelling all of the myths that keep society sick.  The next thing you will notice is it’s references to eating many quality fats while most other diets in this western world do not and would not dare.  This diet gets back to foods that were consumed 150+ years ago, when people actually had healthy bodies.  You also see the proof in all of their claims, and they are quite astonishing.

Get over there and start checking out the site.  There is A LOT of info so don’t be discouraged
